once defined
it is and it has become so
from pre-prime to young-legal
a quick hello, a wry smile
get dressed ,re-dress,undress,
no thinking automatic tv-channel changes
sunken spot on sunken couch
sulk and stew in fictitious thoughts of
a slow denial of a apathetic reality
a slow burning cigarette ash on the floor
it is what it is..

once redefined
it was so and is now seen as new
clean eyes see wide open ideas
from young -legal to wise owl
a slow hello with silent contented smile
a warm cloth wraps a kindred spirit
always grateful for beauty of his creations
for blessings and lessons
raised above the mundane elated and elevated
philosophy of tongue and word pump blood through refreshing thought
a graceful acceptance of the universe as one
a breath of fresh air quickens the heart
